A few warm Feb days permitted a couple winter projects to be moved outside for painting.

I made a couple corn hole boards for the boys favorite football teams.

Finished the deer head and brought him outside to brush out the curing salts.

And even got the new sign painted for Howards mash pole.   Seems mine got destroyed during last years storm.      @857 horse    Where's Howard?

After carefully studying the "N", I decided Jason is correct.    So I fixed the "N",  but now some of the other letters seem funky.    :confusion-confused:  :confusion-helpsos:  :confusion-shrug:

This isn't a winter project....70F here today.            The house across the road from me is being gutted and redone, so last week, after getting permission from the builder, I hauled the kitchen cabinets home.      I hung a couple of the wall units in Mrs. Ks garage this afternoon.     I luv dumpster diving...and the price is great.     The builder was happy to help load the cabinets as he has to pay by the pound to dispose them at the land fill.

Real nice cabinets for free. Nothing wrong with getting something for free.

I find myself scoping out piles on the curb at any remodel job in the area - amazing what people toss and that's how I got the laundry washout sink for free, complete with a new faucet kit to boot. Cabinets around this whole area seem to disappear pretty fast - guys want them for the garage so the word has gotten out, lol.

In 2004 we lived in Florida and after each of the three hurricanes we experienced I would go out metal scavenging. The wife wondered what I was going to do with all the bed frames, kept telling me to quit dragging them home.

When she wanted several shelve for the garage she was actually impressed that I didn't need to buy any metal.        :text-yeahthat:

I take all the bed frames I can find. Good metal for little projects. 👍

@Ed Kennell what are the dimensions of your mash pole sign? Something else I have to build.

Mine is 1X3X22= 66    so that fits in the profile of Howards  1X4X18= 72.

Well I saw 18” so I went with that. I am having my niece cut one out for me on her plasma table. If it makes it back home it will be put up over my shed door. The horse is 6” tall but the rest is 1/8”x 4” x 18” long. Don’t know if that fits the requirements but if not I’ll have a nice shed sign.

:text-coolphotos:           Howard WILL make an exception for a fantastic sign like that!           :woohoo:

Hope so. Figured if I made it this year I may not be back for a while so I thought I would over do it. 😁

That looks like an item that should be available for purchase.   Is your Niece interested in being a :rs:vendor?

Don't forget the two screw mounting holes near one end of the sign.

I told her if she made one, she may have to make more. She said no problem. I’m painting mine to match my tractor. If anyone wants one, I can let her know and get a price. Don’t know how much business she would get being a vendor but her and her husband do make all kinds if signs and misc stuff. I’ll ask.

Ok well I messed up. My sign is 20” long not 18”. 6” high horse head and 4” sign portion total of 20”  I’ll post a picture when I get it from her.

Don't follow my example Richie.     Put the stencils on right side up.
