LED lights with turn signal flasher

Recommended Posts

I've been kicking around the idea of adding two Amber led lights to the front, and two to the back of my Commando 8. I would like to have them flash  on and off. Does anyone know if a standard turn signal flasher will work? Or, do I need a different flasher unit?

You will need a low current LED compatible flasher.

Not a big deal as they are readily available, I have them in a couple of my vehicles.

I bought mine on ebay.

:text-yeahthat:

With the lower current draw of LED lights, a standard flasher will not work.

I actually installed an alternating flasher on my GT-14 so the rear facing red LED lights alternated when flashing!

If you look at auction for Flashing motorcycle brake lights, you will find these

I put one on each side of tractor for having to back out into the street to clear the driveway

camera don't seem to like them, here is video flashing against the shed
