Dozer A frame dimensions

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

I have a 1979 C161 Auto and have been given a 42" Dozer blade (the blade with the springs and pivot) for which I would like to fabricate an A frame. Have seen some pictures and manuals so I know what I am looking to make but can anyone give me the important dimensions e.g. rear pivots to blade pivot; rear pivots to angle(turn-in) point; lift hitch position etc. Would be most grateful as could save a lot of trail and error.

Pic of the blade attached (sorry about quality)photo.JPG.a853822eadf70926e359ebf53257f84a.JPG

Mant thank, Dial

Maybe this will help get the "ball" rolling, the measurements are with the 520 extension kit take 4" off  the OAL, Jeff.
