snowhound 103 #1 Posted January 18, 2018 I'm looking at a GT-1600 that has a manual lift that doesn't hold, that is when the lift arm is pulled back to raise the snowblower it doesn't lock. How much of a job is it to replace the lock mechanism?
Racinbob 10,204 #2 Posted January 18, 2018 It's not difficult but I'd suggest disconnecting the blower and trying it that way. It's pretty easy to have something out of adjustment and the blower stops the travel before it can latch. 2
Ed Kennell 35,146 #3 Posted January 18, 2018 Could be the lift/push rod is a tad too long.

JimmyJam 516 #5 Posted January 19, 2018 While we are on the topic of "manual lift for attachments" (may be a bit ). However, I am looking for the WH illustration of the manual lift (rock shaft) that shows what holes are intended for. ie: deck, plow, snowblower etc. I tried looking in Manual section with no eval. I did see that illustration some time back. Just can't find it now. Any HELP would be appreciated.

Believe there are named manual lift linkage or hydraulic lift linkage. Page 22 of the manual above for the GT models have this same page. Garry
