WHX??

I dunno ....650 for the pair wadda you guys think? 1077 has got a nice plow blade and aside from missing cig lighter1277 its in realy nice original (i use that word tightly as as I know how Tom feels about original!) condition. Both have original hydro fans AND fan guards! Both have some PO cobbles that can easily be reversed. I need another 1077 like a (another) hole in the head but still ... I got a itch that needs scratching.....Pardon my addiction but both run sweeter than molassses......more when they are in the mirror!

I've been working to get all the 1054/953 seats don't for the Big Show.

9 sets of backs and bottoms. Now I've got to start on the lawn ranger seats.

WOW, those are nice. Guess I will need to make it to the BIG SHOW.

Thanks to A&Z Tractor for having the correct steering wheel for my 73 16 Automatic.  Installed it tonight after getting home from work. Went splendidly :handgestures-thumbupright: the  one that was on the tractor came off without problem.  And after a bit of cleaning everything went together easily. Even had the center cap and that was in great condition.

Put in fresh fuel and charged the battery on my new B80.  Off she went!  Runs great, expect her to be for sale in a few days.  I also put a new fuel pump and charged the battery on my 312-8.  Smoothest, best running tractor I've ever had.  Gonna keep it and out it to work😁.

Finally had a chance to bolt the fresh K-341 on my 76. I'm probably not going to get it going until after the big show. There's a few things I want to find for it. An ammeter or voltmeter, an OE style muffler, headlight lens, an OE style rectifier/regulator, brake liner, drawbar hitch (works great with the old tub cart) and probably a few other things. I installed a hourmeter in the shifter plate so I can track the hours on the 'new' motor. :)

Bob, I have an ammeter that came out of my 1974 c-160.

I have no idea if my ammeter works because the wiring harness was basically a butchered up bag of shaken spaghetti inside the tractor.

I didn't put it back in because I am a fan of a voltmeter instead.

If you can tell me how to bench test this thing I'll do it. Throw me a few bucks for postage and you can have the gauge. I'll never use it and there's no sense just letting it sit on my shelf.

The way I would test it is to wire it in series with a load like the headlights. It should deflect some. Reverse the polarity and it should deflect in the opposite direction. I agree with the voltmeter but it's not a big deal to me. I just want something that works. My original ammeter was stuck on 0 but, even though I never checked the system, I know it was charging since I used it all winter. :)

I've got one of those on my ebay watch list Jim but I'm kinda wondering about durability and if it would be visible in the sunlight. Nothing too fancy for this old girl. With the history of this tractor some may wonder why I'm not restoring it. In my little way it's a tribute to the late gentleman that had it for the 17 years we were living in Florida. He did do some painting on it and it could use some freshening up but he took such good care of it I've decided to leave it physically as is and work the snot out of it like I always did. His wifes words that I was the only person Larry would want to see with this tractor goes through my mind every time I look at it. :)

Hurried home today from the Royal Wedding. Left my lawn chair behind because I was going to miss my flight. :( Rainy day at The Plaza today. Got my working wheels and new tires on the Skonkmobile. :occasion-xmas:

There's a chance a digital voltmeter would be all over the place connected to a :wh: charging system. I have used Fluke,Fieldpiece, Crafstman, Harbor freight chepo's you name it and the reading jumps all over. Too sensitive. I have to get my Simpson analog meter out to test a system.

Bob, if you find an OE muffler at the show and there's more than 1 let me know. I'm looking for a spare. :banana-wrench: I am picking up a "Spare Thumper" :)

Well I just added a new seat to my collection.  I wanted to try something new just to see how it would look . Not bad but I don't know if i really like it or not. A lot of work trying to sew pleats And letters. I really like the diamond design and may do one something like my first experiment As In The Last Picture  but use a 1/2 sew foam to make them stand out..

But what do you guys think ???

I worked on some RJ three piece transmission parts today.  Two drive pulley side panels.   I removed old bearings and brass bushing on one plate that had a really bad axle tube brass bushing.

I also painted some hubs off of an RJ tractor.

Tuneup

First mow of the season - the C-125 ran flawlessly and faithfully, the front turf tires picked up every package the neighborhood dogs have left. Some people use scoops. I don't have the need. 42" RD working fine but, wow, the noise! TIme to break-out the range headgear.

My honey borrowed the B80 to move a little fire wood.
