Coming from the mouth of the "Plow Dog"--Where's the Brinly furrow plows Lane?  That looks like the perfect place to turn soil first with a plow, switch to a disc to bust clods, then hook up the tiller to finish.:teasing-poke:

Looks good nonetheless!

Jack's got a point Lane ..garden that size I would have plowed it over last fall, disced it then thru in  some winter rye. Turned it over again this spring, tilled & planted the veggies. they claim this puts nitrogen back into the soil. :confusion-shrug:

I painted 18 wheels today with rustoleum red primer.   Original plan was to power a MTD differential with a drill and spin the wheel, but it was much easier to spin it by hand. I made 'special" mounts for the wheels that let me flip the wheel over and just paint the entire thing at one go .  Got some good piccs of the process.

Finish coat will be Rustoleum Canvas White. A perfect match to my original paint that is lighter than almond .[As far as I can tell, that is]

Nope. Red and white oak, red maple. Sugar maple. Beech trees. Lots of others. But no hazelnuts...

THAT is a cool pic Eric!  Nice to see that little horse working hard.  I’m hoping to get to some yard work today and tomorrow with Kelli and the kids.  Will definitely involve the horses and probably some off topic GT’s (:hide:).  You guys have a beautiful spot out there and the improvements are making it even sweeter :greetings-clapyellow:

Where we plan to move I have a bunch of woods on a sloping bank that runs along a canal that will be at the back of the property. Hope to do something similar with a trail to walk/ cruise on. Lot of clearing to do but will be fun to work on with the right :wh: equipment.

:wwp:once you get settled in there Richie, you’ll have to start a thread and document that transformation process.  Sounds like that will be a beautiful location too!

Am I seeing things or is that a deer in the woods checking things out?

I can see what you mean there..... Not a deer in this pic but we do have  A LOT of them here.

It's a fortunate arrangement of leaves.

Cleaned out the flower beds today and mulched them. Oh and test the new wheel weights out also.

Exhaust

Took the day to remove all the bed edge bricks, that were sunk and misaligned.  The :wh: helped haul the sod, soil, and roots.  Glad today's work is over but I've got the other 3/4 left to finish next time.
