Thoughts on upgrading 8 pinion diff to LSD or Lock

I've been known to do exactly that but in Mountain Country where I am it just doesn't work every time.

Late again...

 

I did have another idea that was even easier to implement. Not a true locker, but more resistance than the limited slip 10 pinion....

 

fits under the seat pan and uses rubber wheels to engage on the tyre walls transferring rotation from one side to the other. Early Dixon ZTR mowers used this technology for the handbrake!

 

Can be be left in place all the time but will wear the tyre walls eventually.
