Twister 3 #1 Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Hey folks, I'm new here. I am currently doing a frame up on my late 70's C-81 Eight Speed. Does anyone know if there are any NOS tillers left in the world? Edited December 29, 2017 by Twister

Twister 3 #7 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) I bought this tractor in 2002, in non-running condition for sixty bucks. It had been sitting outside next to a barn. I wrung out the safety circuit with my ohm meter and found that the seat switch was no good. I put a battery in it, bypassed the safety's, added new gas, and it fired right up. They wanted $900 and had I lived anywhere close I might have grabbed it for myself. If you watch CL using an site like Search Tempest you will see there are a few available in pretty good shape since they're an attachement that most owners don't use but once or twice a year at most. The one caution I would make though, if you plan to mount it on your 8 HP C-81 it might be under powered, especially if you try to break soil that's not been tilled for a long time. 1
