Chute extension crank/handle for snowthrower

Recommended Posts

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn

STILL AVAILABLE FROM ORIGINAL TRACTOR CAB.

I called up Original Cab Co. They are still available to order for the single and 2 stage snowthrower. If you don't have the talent and time etc. (Like me), to make one, you can order it still. Just a FWIW to you fellas looking for them.

Just came in the mail, we were talking about these snowblower crank handle chute extension pieces the other day.

Chute control extension, and bracket to hold it, u clamp.

Craig, please note. The handle doesnt make it "into" the cab all the way. Its a crappy picture, hard to tell. Now, the extension piece will bring it into the operators cab, for comfort, AND a warm hand.  :ychain:

Will install shortly, and get a good picture.

And the million dollar question, because that's the only part of the bill not pictured, How much?

Kind of curious if it's comparable to going electric.

The first and second  picture shows how short to the cab interior.

Ok, installation complete. Now the crank handle extends INTO cab, through the correct opening. ??...A WARM hand makes for operating comfort...better than sticking my claw into the snow.

Wallfish, that's  Cause it was only a packing slip, not a bill. I paid by credit card, when I get it, I will tell you exactly, but I recall the chute extension about 22 bucks, the other pieces maybe 16 bucks and around fifteen to ship

Brian, looks around 11 1/2"  , pics for you. 12" would work.

Thanks. Another of my projects in waiting is building a cab, and I will need to make one. I really need a barn so I can work on stuff like this in the winter...
