Thank you for solving the mystery.

My honey and I both were thinking something outdoors-ish because we'd seen it in a multitool set up.

 

I do appreciate all the other ideas... and I can't say I won't try them out.... nose, ears.... :ychain:

AHHH....

That's what we Thought it was... why we thought it was for outdoor stuff. Because we had seen it on a knife like that.

Yup Yup... My honey found it listed as a "19th century Victorian Glove Hook"

 

We'd never even heard of one... who knew??

When we had the antique shop, these were good sellers. I saved a couple like this one for my tool box. They make great spring pullers.

We added ours to "the wall of small antique tools"
