Not to "sign rich" here but this is my one WH sign. It's a nice size at 40" tall and 24" wide. The other small miscellaneous signs are a mixture of old original and re-pops.

I love seeing what everyone else puts up in the shop.  I love antiques and the advertisements are no exception with me.  Looking good Mike!

About 10 years.  I find as much satisfaction finding an old sign.  They all tell a story as well and don't seem to take up floor space.

Floor Space? .... What floor wall space?!?!? Some where in there is a RS calendar does that count? Are you suggesting I add a 2nd story addition with 18' sidewalls for signage Scott? :laughing-rolling:

Hey wait a minute not a bad idea...lemme run that one by the Mrs....

Gotta quit drinking coffee while visiting here or quit reading BRF posts

 Cleaning the computer screen------Again

i do have one shop calendar that i am proud of. Remember the Makita girls-in bikinis calendars?  Remember Tim the Tool Man Taylor and his wife? Well it turns out that Patricia Richardson [or her identical twin sister if she has one] posed for a calendar in the early Eighties   . She    is    Smokin'   Hot.

Maybe I could join the humor section of this site if showing cheesecake photos is OK there...

I bet that calendar would fetch a pretty penny on E-bay

Ask one of the mods for the password Farmer and if it's ok. Hopefully he will remember (tasteful)  pinup girls helped us win WWII and say :wwp:

I have only been able to find one vintage :wh: dealer sign.  I made a bracket and hung it on the corner of my horse barn.

I do have some of Terrys signs that I am happy to display.  Thanks Terry.

Some other signs I have acquired..

This one hung over the Rienholt Sporting Goods store in Winterstown, Pa. from the 1930s till it closed in the 1960s when I purchased it at the closing auction for $1.25.

IMG_0011.JPG.00e09dadad6c2bdbb8eca4f7b78c2654.JPG

I recovered this one from a river downstream of the club that was destroyed by a flood.  The sign was mangled badly and by padding with carpet and hours of gentle pounding with a wooden mallet, I was able to get it back to this condition.

IMG_0012.JPG.b3797db69047effcae367fac905b89d7.JPG

This one came from the garage that my MIL rented out to the Keesey Bros. for many years in the 1950s.  It had been used as a floor repair in the attic storage area and had been  walked on for many years.      Fine scotch brite, cleaners and waxes brought it back to this condition.  This garage is now where I store my off season horses, boats, and camper.

Some of the Allis Chalmers Hydro Turbine plates I retrieved when AC Hydro went bankrupt and sold out to Voith Hydro in 1986.

Those are all fantastic!  Thanks for sharing you advertisements!

These two are my favorites of your collection Scott.... I can't imagine there were that many of each produced to begin with, making them truly unique survivors!

I love this sign! But then, I love the looks of those Blackhoods!B)

I don't have any of this stuff...yet.

But, I've always been into the whole "sign"; anything "paper" bit....it's as much a part of the history as the tractors; any given item.

I don't have a big garage; not even the room for a stable yet, but this I can and do, get.

Been into "boomsticks" for a long time, Rugers in particular....it amazes people to find out that the box some of those older pieces came in can be worth almost as much as the contents, sometimes more, for example.

Thanks, all of you, for sharing these cool photos...keeps the juices flowing for this hobby, now, too, for this newbie.
