Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to change my rear wheels to a dual set up and where I can buy the rims. I have a D180?

Generally, it just takes an adapter...

that joins together two individual rims.

In 1992 the dual wheel kits from the factory included stronger rear axles. Something to keep in mind.

One important thing to keep in mind is the outer rear tires on a dual set-up should be run at low air pressure to reduce the forces applied to the axles when operating on uneven ground. The extra leverage exerted by a tire a foot or more from the end of the axle is considerable.
