PTO Brake

Priced the ASM (PTO brake pad) bracket. High $$$ as always.

Any ideas on replacing just the brake pad material?

I use the lining material off an old brake pad.  Just hacksaw a piece to size and JB Weld onto the plate.

When mine are worn,I delete it.I'm the only one operating my equipment so it really isn't a safety issue for me.When I did-engage the PTO lever,if the spinning clutch bothers me,I just put some light pressure on the PTO lever and everything stops spinning.

Mine are all gone as well.

I have 2 good used ones and a new one but none are installed.

When I disengage the PTO when running a deck or snow blower, they stop very quickly anyways.
