Not yet. Only had a standard tap, I'll pick one up and run it up and down before re-assembly.

The welding current goes through the bolt, through the rust to get the cylinder block where the welding ground clamp is located. The rust is high resistance to current flow so it gets real hot and turns the rust to dust. You can do the same with a battery and booster cables.
