MalMac 1,328 #1 Posted September 2, 2017 Has anybody tried to replace the volt gauge by just easily persuading the plastic dash to bend enough to sneak the old gauge out and a new one in? I did that on a hour meter on a different tractor years ago but the volt gauge maybe a different story all together. If disassembly of the dash is required I don't believe I am up for that. It's just more than I want to bite off right now. So how about it, anybody tried the cheating method with any success.

MalMac 1,328 #5 Posted September 2, 2017 I sorta did the same thing when I changed out the hour meter. I used a heat lamp and warmed up plastic dash very carefully.
