No lights

Put a new battery in my charger 12 and now the lights do not t work, they did before the change. where should i begin to see whats wrong, is there a fuse i cant see?

:hand:  Probably the ground needs cleaned...

light switch on, wiggle the hood around...see what happens.

:WRS:            Here is the manual with wiring diagrams, happy hunting. With any electrical problem I have always found that cleaning and tightening all electrical connections will cure most of them.

Thanks for all the input,  it ended up being the contacts on the light switch, go figure.. not that i use them, they are not to bright..

 

has anyone ever retro'd LED's bulbs?

If you take the time to replace your lens, & detail that light bucket...

I think, you'd be surprised how bright them old 1156's really are.

There are some pretty high powered led conversion bulbs that will fit the 1156 socket base - they aren't cheap but will provide about a 200% boost in output at a lower draw rate . Not sure how long they will last as the chips need to dissipate the heat - might need some vent holes in the housing . I had a set in an old car - they were a bit overkill but at least you could see backing up at night .
