Hello everyone, I am repairing the gearbox 5025 of my WHEEL HORSE, the parts are very good, but my doubt is that before separating the two caps of the change notice that the axes had movement from the inside out this is normal or Must adjust?

not an expert carlos but I believe a slite in out movement 1/6 to 1/8 inch is normal. One of our transmission guys will correct me if that is not right.

In and out movement (1/8")  3mm. is acceptable.  There should be no up down or front to rear.

I think it must be normal because I do not see anything worn or adjusted to correct that movement. The only thing that could make that movement and depends on the axis is that the lid is ground or that the bearings that are located in the covers are not well In its position

In/out movement in the amount mentioned is normal and just the nature of these transmissions. If you're referring to the outer axle bearings they do nothing to stop that movement. :)
