Early Wheel Horse

Recommended Posts

Craigs List has a Springfield Il. listing for what must be the earliest Wheel Horse I have ever seen, or maybe it is mislabeled. Wish I knew how to put that picture on here, and also wish I had the money to buy it. It has a flat hood, and from what I can tell it has a B & S engine on it. I have never seen anything like it, and it has my curiosity very much aroused.

Is this it? Ad says "Motor is free and has compression. Doesn't run and needs work. $100 firm or trade for gokart running or not."

I knew it's something like I have never seen, and I am not that familiar with the "old stuff". Asante Sana. That is the one I had seen.

Please....someone out there needs to buy it.   That "classic custom" needs to be preserved.

I will step aside so I don't get trampled in the stampede of potential buyers!      :ychain:

I think it's kinda cool. If I was closer I'd buy it. Get it running and keep it the way it is.

Craig do your magic and make it really custom. I am thinking like a small V twin with straight pipes. And flames on the hood.

If I was a survivor after the apocalypse and needed a mower, it's just what I would create.

Unique to say the least. Take it to shows and claim it's original and get some head scratching going on!  Good conversation starter that's fer sure!
