Gunny 240 #1 Posted August 2, 2017 Just completed a lean to off my shop, 30' x 9'. Seems a 30' x 30' shop with 6 WH's, 2 project WH's, 1 Zero Turn and 1 ATV does not leave much room to work.. Will be adding some crushed limestone Friday, complete the side panels and calling it done. Material was extremely affordable, one of my boys is the Sales Manager at a steel building manufacture here in town, d and the labor was very reasonable. Win, Win. Is nice to be able to walk around without having to step over red stuff! Dennis
953 nut 51,516 #2 Posted August 2, 2017 Nice shed. Put a good vapor barrier under the crushed stone, keeps the dry.

Ed Kennell 35,610 #4 Posted August 2, 2017 Nice storage shed, but I don't think it would take the snow load we get here in the NE.
WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #5 Posted August 2, 2017 What size and gauge steel are the roof beams, when I had my last carport style building put in June the county regulations made me upgrade to PA snow load rating heavier gauge framing and braces, Jeff.

Gunny 240 #8 Posted August 6, 2017 I really like this. Hope to have it completed in a couple of weeks. About decided to pour concrete instead of the crushed limestone, price is right. Jeff, has all 6" purlin's and 29 Ga Ag Panel for roof. No snow down in East Texas, so figure this will stand the rain fall we've been having. Gunny 240 #9 Posted September 8, 2017 The concrete was poured today. Will add AG panel on each end this weekend. Add a slope on the sides for easy access. Should be good for a few WH's and attachments. . 3
AMC RULES 36,941 #10 Posted September 8, 2017 Looks so nice... are up going to enclose the sides too Dennis?
Gunny 240 #11 Posted September 8, 2017 Haven't decided, I really like the idea of easy access of getting the WH's out. Maybe I will let some of ya'll make up my mind. Up for suggestions!

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,034 #13 Posted September 9, 2017 I have an open area under an addition at the house that used to be a deck. I find that when I leave machines under there the mice stay out and when they are in an enclosed space like my shed they get into the engines. Either way it looks like a really nice space. I like the concrete flood which will keep them dry and clean.
JPWH 5,295 #14 Posted September 9, 2017 I have a lean to on the side of my shop. I don't have a rodent problem but if I don't check under the hood before cranking the wasps can get pretty active in about 5 minutes. 2

I'd leave it open... On 9/7/2017 at 10:43 PM, Gunny said: easy access
