Does anyone know if Matt's foot pedal can be fitted on a GT-14?

I was also going to do this but it's way down on my project list. If you want it to look Factory then it is very involved. If you are ok with pragmatic, then google or search foot control. A few have made linkeage that works exterior to tractor panels.

Here are a few pictures of one that was posted a couple years back. I don't remember who did the post or what the title was, but had saved the photos for future reference.

That is similar to what I planned to do, except I planned to keep it on the left side of the tractor in front of, or underneath the break pedal that doesn't work, so as to avoid routing all around the internal parts.

That person did a nice job welding and bending the rod, though. My work is not as clean.

If you have or plan to add a 3 point hitch, you would either have to use independent type or if you use combined control valve, you would have to navigate around the draw bar as well.

Do you mean if I do the three point hitch that connects to the existing hydraulic cylinder that lifts the plow and deck?

Yes. It will crowd the left side of the tunnel.

Here is pic of tunnel with "Dependent" or shared cylinder with the draw or lift bar in place.

Hmmmm. I see those items on eBay. Maybe I should put a three point hitch upper on first....

I took simpler external approach and you can still use the "T" handle.
