1961-63 usually fenderless but fenders were an option,  7 hp Kohler, belt driven clutch to shaft to transmission, that's what I grew up on ,dad bought his in 1976-77 and has had it ever since , first 2 pics of a nicely restored version then ours that's still mowing/working with a newer style K181 gear drive starter and padded seat, Jeff.

Yeah, I had a 62  that I bought in 1969 and then traded in on a new 1989 312-8....Wish I had bought the 312 outright and kept the cub too....it was a great machine with no frills....

I had a barn find Original a few years back. Had everything with it too. Fenders, reflectors, seat cover, oil bath, hood ornament IH emblem in the grille and decals. Put a new head gasket in it and it ran like a top. real comfortable to drive. A guy who lives near the Big Show bought it from me.
