WHX?? 46,766 #2 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) That's for installing/removing the detent balls & spring for the shift rails. Supposed to be a welsh type plug in there. Covered by the frame but I just fill it with a dab of silicone just to keep dirt & water out. Get a decent boot for that shift lever too...goes a long way in keeping crap out. @wheelhorseman has them in the vendor section.
