T McCool 287 #1 Posted July 20, 2017 Well I knocked out some of the main projects on my agenda so I decided to get started on the new 9×24 garden shed addition. T McCool 287 #2 Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Well I knocked out some of the main projects on my agenda so I decided to get started on the new 9×24 garden shed addition. Much room for the old man and his attachments Much more ahead on this project this is just a sneak peek! It may appear that the addition is crooked by looking at the sidewalk but that's just the way the barn was erected everything is true level and square, it drives me nuts that it's not square with the fence line and house! redhorsecentral 1 #4 Posted July 20, 2017 Nice Start,, Are those 4X8 poles or 6X6 ? . I was just wondering if they will hold the snow load for your area.
T McCool 287 #5 Posted July 20, 2017 Thank you whomever for fixing my double post! Redhorse they are 4x6's. Any heavy wet snow over 6" i clear as a precaution. My car port is 16x24 so I'm not AS worried for the horsie stall ☺
Retired Wrencher 4,874 #6 Posted July 20, 2017 T McCool Nice job so far should hold about a dozen W/Horses? Enjoy the project.
953 nut 51,509 #7 Posted July 20, 2017 Looks like you have lots of room to add on to the addition as the herd grows!
AMC RULES 36,941 #8 Posted July 20, 2017 If your original shed is any measure... this new stall is gonna the bomb.
T McCool 287 #9 Posted July 20, 2017 Haha thanks AMC! I have some cool ideas. As for another horse....there's still that one that's been sitting up the road a ways since we moved in over a year ago. It's a good looking tractor, not sure the model. It sits back in a long drive next to a cub surrounded in weeds. I've seen it covered in snow, hasn't moved. Nice fat AGs out back. Now that I'll have room I might have to knock on some doors 😀
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #10 Posted July 28, 2017 Plenty of room in there for additional horses, nice start. Glenn
T McCool 287 #11 Posted July 29, 2017 I'll be honest every time a pass that house I stare at that tractor. I want it in the worst way. It looks to be a mid to late 60's something. Looks to have a 10hp ish kohler on it. Similar hood to my 67' 657.
T McCool 287 #12 Posted July 29, 2017 After some research it looks like it may be a raider 10. The flywheel side of the engine and hood look similar. The house looks to be vacant, I'll knock on the neighbors doors and see whats up. I really want it! 😂
