EricF 589 #8 Posted July 18, 2017 I grew up with a 110 almost exactly like that! They're not all that bad... Except when you have to change belts. Especially the drive belt. Or work on the variator. Or take the deck on and off and fiddle with the deck belt and the mule drive pulleys inside of the frame... Nice to ride, but when it comes to wrenching I'd rather work on my !!

I was about to turn on the deck and mow with it but the owner got nervous that the tractor was going to get dirty and asked that I do not mow with it. Figure out who that guy is... He has a garage you can eat off of and not one of his tractors is ever dirty. And has a habit of buying cream puffs....

Nice to ride, but when it comes to wrenching I'd rather work on my !! Isn't that the honest truth!! I am guilty of having a 74 110 and what a pain it is to work on lol. I broke a tension spring on the variator while plowing and it was real fun to get to and try and fix. I've been procrastinating putting new belts on it because I know what a headache that will be. I will agree though that it is one of the most comfortable riding garden tractors I have. Mike
