sorry it was just a thought, I seen wheel horse's in ford blue and cub yellow and to me that's just not right either....I thought I wanted to be different

No apologies needed... IMHO.

Different is good.

I'm makin mine aqua-ish as well... with antique white wheels and engine and red/black/white :wh: decals.

I purposely chose a color I've Never seen on another tractor.

I'm just as much of a purist on many machines but I also appreciate variety.

Sure would be boring without it.

there is another color too and you will laugh but I was thinking of skiroule metallic green with black or coleman green which its also known as I restored a 1969 S-300 and the closest I could get was a 1976 ford jade green metalic

Well, I finally got time to attempt making a seat for my 953.  Turned out ok, I'm happy with it-crooked seams and all.  I found a set of implement tires I could afford - too skinny, but they look a lot better than the car tires that were on it!  Maybe I'll luck up and find an original set of ags one of these days.  Still gotta fix the deck and get it mounted, but there are other things needing my attention right now.  Oh well, here are a couple of pics of her as she sits now.  You didn't see that green thing in the background!:ROTF:

:text-coolphotos:       The seat looks very comfortable. I agree. ags are way better than car tires.

I have been toying with the idea of getting another set of rims and putting another set of skinny ags on for duals.  I could move the hubs in a little and it wouldn't be much wider than stock ags.  Might be a neat look.  Any opinions?
