:WRS:    Your :wh: left the factory as a 12 volt, If it has a 6 volt battery that is incorrect.

Do you have a picture or number of the battery that's in it?

Interesting that it even runs if it's a 6V battery.

A 12 volt battery has 6 cells so 6 caps to add fluid.

A 6 volt battery has 3 cells so 3 caps to add fluid.

:text-yeahthat:   Pretty sure you have a 12 V battery.    I have never seen a 6V battery that would fit in a  WH battery tray.

I have a 1973 Automatic (16hp) and the steering wheel is broken inside and I need to replace it.

Had some fun today, and moved a pine tree with my '73 Auto 18 Wheel Horse with and Ark front end loader. Had my wife film it with her iphone and decided to share with you a little fun of what amazing work this tractor does for me everyday!
      Enjoy!

      *** New price $75
Must sell! Don't want to give to scrapper.
I have had these but never used them. Everything turns and is in decent condition for the age.

Mostly original 1973 Wheel Horse 10120-8, 4 speed, 8 HP. Excellent running condition. Mower deck works and is functional. My guess is if you plan to use it to cut grass, you'd want to sharpen the blades. See images for condition. Has original paint and most of the original stickers. Headlight delete grill plate is not original but all mounting points are okay. Brand new Duracell battery. Starts right up and runs strong. Located in central NJ off Interstate 195 in Jackson.
