Got hubs painted today and installer my wheel stud kit. Mounted up the wheels and seen what I had to trim for clearance. Last one I did I didn't have to trim anything. This one I have to. 26" vs. 23" photo for comparison.

What size our your axles 1" or 1/18", I see they are the keyed type, make sure to keep the hubs tight and check on a regular basis. I stripped the keys pulling the 1050 lb. class and found some splined axles and hubs and have never had a problem, that was 4 yrs ago and about 75 pulls on them.

They are 1 1/8 axles and haven't had any problem yet with them. The issues come when they loosen up.

You have came a long way in a short time, and your work looks excellent, what weight class do you plan on pulling?

Do you have a speed limit, we have a 3mph on the lower classes up to 950. Then on the 950 fast and the 1050 classes we have a 5mph limit

I do not know what class yet till I get done building and scale it before adding weight. Some of the higher up classes pull 10 mph plus

I sent my header out yesterday to be ceramic coated and my air intake adapter came in. Also I painted my steering wheel and battery hold downs.

Fail for an air cleaner. Too tall. Should I tear it open and change the cam, better valve springs and steel push rods and also billet rods? If I get 500 likes I will do it.

I wonder if you went to Advance Auto or AutoZone in the Spectre air intake sections and got some of their custom "plumbing" tubes and silicone connectors if you couldn't make that filter work coming out under the left side of the hood like a Harley or old side draft single Kolher also seen a custom header set on the web for the Predators, Jeff.

I have the header built already. It's just off in the photo and I also ordered up another air filter that will fit under the hood

The ones I have seen pull did not lack for power in stock form, but our heavest class is 1050, I would run it like it is and

see how it works, gear up for next season. Your going to have to sort the tractor out before adding more power.
