Snow blade, will it fit?

Recommended Posts

Totte

Hi guys,

I found a 42" snow blade that was used on a Commando 8, for sale.

I have been trying to figure out if it will fit my C-160 and from what I can understand the answer is No. Short frame vs Long frame.

Just wanted to double check with you since these things are rare here in Sweden.

My guess would be no as well. If your blade frame looks like this it won't fit a long frame.

If it's like this it will fit either wheelbase.

Thanks Racinbob,

Unforunately it looks like the first one.

At least I don't have to spend 5 hours in the car  on a sunny afternoon, picking up gear for the winter😄

The frame would be easy to extend. A welder and some angle or channel iron.

I've made a few frames some years ago. :handgestures-thumbupright:

I live out west where WheelHorse attachments are few and far between. I recently bought a 312-8 and non wheelhorse tiller, plow, and snowblower attachments  that I am fabbing brackets for.

Does anyone have plow frame drawings or dimensions for my tractor?
