carlosking450 149 #1 Posted June 6, 2017 Hi I would like to know if the carburetor fuel connection is 1/4 "or 1/8"?
Digger 66 3,476 #2 Posted June 6, 2017 Are you referring to the thread size & pitch or the size of the line ( tubing ) ?

rmaynard 14,865 #5 Posted June 7, 2017 (edited) Carlos, what you have is 1/8" pipe threads. That fitting is made by Parker-Hannifin. Part number is 68VL 3-2. It has 1/8" pipe threads, and hold a 3/16" tube. This fitting includes all three pieces, including the rubber gasket. carlosking450 149 #6 Posted June 7, 2017 Hello again friend, the blue thread is 1/8 "but what is the measure of the red thread? I will look for it in specialized stores in Spain. Thank you

rmaynard 14,865 #8 Posted June 7, 2017 As Paul said above, the nut that you have circled in blue has straight threads 7/16"-24. Hopefully you can find a local source in Spain. I have a complete new fitting (all 3 pieces) that I can send you for free if you can't find it, but postage and duty to Spain might be cost prohibitive.
Digger 66 3,476 #9 Posted June 7, 2017 (edited) I have to ask : Why not just run barbed fittings with F/I line & Otiker ( stepless ear ) clamps ? My F/I fittings on my Can-Am are done that way and that is running 51 PSI . I doubt the tractor fuel pump produces that much . carlosking450 149 #11 Posted June 8, 2017 Hello friends my kohler has the pipe and the nuts, but the rubber seal is very broken, I will try to look for a similar board. But I find it will look for a connection with the same measurement of the red circle and at the other end a fluted tube with clamps. It would look something like this: But not the measurement of the thread of the previous red circle, could be 1/4?

Lay it on a dollar bill or something then take the picture so we have an idea of what size it might be .

carlosking450 149 #14 Posted June 28, 2017 Hello again I think it is not 3/8 "since I received that measure and to receive the link is not the same.
Ed Kennell 35,629 #15 Posted June 28, 2017 Carlos, if you open the link I gave you in post 10, you will see the OD of 1/4"NPT is 0.54" 3/8" NPT is 0.675" 1/8" NPT is 0.405". The size of the NPT is roughly the ID in inches. of the schedule 40 pipe.
