Those look great together love the new red and old patina side by side,

 

What finish is on the old suburban...oil?, wax? clear-coat?

Thanks for the compliment. As for the suburban I sanded it lightly to get loose stuff off. Then I used the Eastwood patina preserver and topped it with one coat of rustoleum gloss.

Thanks, I'll check out the Eastwood product, first time I've heard of it.

Ya when I first looked it up I found it for about 15$ a can. But I shopped around and a local hardware store was able to get it for me for 9$ a can so I went with it. I added the gloss just cause I wanted it to have a touch more shine to it. But I will definitely use the product again.
