nylyon-(Admin) 7,088 #1 Posted April 28, 2017 From left to right: 1987 414-8, 1986 310-8 finally 1995 312-8. Recently picked up the 2-stage blower hooked upto the 310-8 and the parts needed for 312-8 to get back on the road. Here's the dilemma: I got too many, gonna have to trim the herd, but which to go?

nylyon-(Admin) 7,088 #3 Posted April 28, 2017 Not pictured: 1994 416-H and 1974 C-160 (and the bigger shed) Got too many...
classicdmax 190 #4 Posted April 28, 2017 Well, is the blower causing the seams to bust? tractor supply has nice canvas tarps! build a lean-to off the shed...
varosd 1,185 #5 Posted April 29, 2017 you need the biggest HP to run that 2stage blower, otherwise sell me that C-160!!!
tims tractors 119 #6 Posted April 29, 2017 Half full or half empty I say put a blade on the 414 Tim
nylyon-(Admin) 7,088 #7 Posted April 29, 2017 Haha, the blade, chains and weights just came off of the 414 about 1 hour ago
953 nut 51,017 #8 Posted April 29, 2017 The blower would do better on the 414, move it over and sell the 310, unless you want to sell me the C-160.
Amcwheel85 2,058 #9 Posted April 29, 2017 So 5 wheel horses is too many? To me that's just getting started..
nylyon-(Admin) 7,088 #10 Posted April 29, 2017 I think that the blower is going to go on the 416. Between the Onan and the hydraulic lift, should make blizzards a snap!
classicdmax 190 #11 Posted April 29, 2017 If the c160 is on the table, I'd like to get in on the bidding!!!
elcamino/wheelhorse 8,944 #12 Posted April 29, 2017 If you have too many just ship one down here to me ( free of course ) wife's back operation will take all of my horse money and more.
Cee245 742 #13 Posted April 29, 2017 I think if it were me, I'd probably sell the 310-8. And agree with using the 2 stage on the 416H. That would be BRUTAL using a non-hydro or electric lift with how much that thing weighs. ~C
Achto 26,199 #14 Posted April 29, 2017 1 hour ago, nylyon said: I got too many I guess I don't under stand this statement. I would have a really hard time parting with any of my tractors, so I couldn't give any suggestions on which tractor another person should part with.
kthack657 254 #15 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) Just buy a trailer, that way you can put them in there and transport them to shows...you skip the step of having to load them...they would be ready to go... 🤗 Edited April 29, 2017 by kthack657

WHX?? 46,404 #20 Posted April 29, 2017 Little late to the party here I guess.... I'm what.... 6th dibs on the 160! I'm also in the same boat as Acto so no help here!
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,315 #21 Posted April 29, 2017 Karl, I would narrowed it down to one of the 300 series as going. I would keep the maroon stripe one myself, but either one could be a keeper.
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,233 #22 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) It's always hard to let one go...I just traded my Commando V8 to my neighbor night before last. Going to be moving in the near future and will probably have limited room for the three I still have, but it was still hard backing her off the trailer for the last time and pulling her in his garage instead of mine. It did make it a little easier when I saw him using her to fertilize his yard yesterday with a big smile on his face. I am afraid that I may have passed the bug on to him though...We were having a beer last night and he told me he never understood my tractor buying habit until yesterday LOL But if you're running out of room, I'm sure that I too could find room for that C160 somewhere here Edited April 29, 2017 by Professor1990
WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #23 Posted April 30, 2017 Yep was up to 5 by October last year (3 520H, 1 520xi and a non running 523Dxi), now down to 2 520H but 3 left to make room for a Mahindra eMax22G, so what goes up must come down, 1 520H I bought new it WON'T be going anywhere and the other only has 295 hours both came from the same dealer so a little sentimental value for me also ,Jeff. nylyon-(Admin) 7,088 #24 Posted April 30, 2017 Similar, the 416 was bought new, and the c-160... well...
squonk 38,567 #25 Posted April 30, 2017 I know my C-160 won't be going anywhere except parades and shows.
