Nice job Steve! I didn't notice any markings on the piston. Didn't have to bore that one? That makes it a lot more fun (and not as spendy!)

Is there anything that Steve can't do?

The Kohler on this 876 had the STD piston.  I had to have the cylinder bored to .010.  I had to use the crankshaft from my K181 spare and have that turned to .010 under.  Cost was about the same as the 857...about $200 for parts and labor.  :)

Really a nice job on the rebuilt. You did great work. I thought I was the only Ole F- - T that has a hand powered grinder .

You guys flatter me, but the truth is...I did not know nothing when I joined here...I was looking for manuals.  The people and the friendships that I have experienced here on this site, have made me who I am.  I had a ton of help from here with the 1st transmission that I tackled.  I also had a ton of help with the 1st engine that I tackled, the 1st hi mount starter, the HY-2...not to mention attachments.  This site has given me so much...and I give thanks that I am able to give something back....and to have fun doing that...priceless.  Thank you to all of you that make this site what it is.  :handgestures-thumbupright:  You guys keep me young...thanks.  My Dad is watching down (he had 4 Wheel Horses)...my only hope is that he would have been able to go to the Big Show.  He passed in 2002, but I show all the pictures to my Mom from the years...and it is like he sees them.  I can't tell you how special that is to me.

Well you have repaid many with what you have learned, including me! I only hope I can pay it forward sir!

Work has gotten in the way of the sport, but when you are self employed, I suppose thats a good thing....

Carry on Steve-O!
