:WRS:

I see you're north of me, a couple of hours or more.  I passed through that area a couple of times recently on my way to Hannibal, Missouri.

:text-welcomeconfetti:, as you are new I started a thread a few weeks back about :rs:members buying their :wh: new as I did my '97 Anniversary 520H in March 1998 , you could add to that thread with a couple more pics of your bought new 416-8, just wondering are you tilling fresh/virgin sod or has it been plowed through before as every time I get in hard packed sod with my tiller it wants jump and buck like a bronco instead of digging/tilling like fresh plowed/disced or last year's plot, Jeff.

thanks guys for all the welcomes

T-Mo-,,,yep south of hannibal,,,oh bout 25 miles

WVHillbilly520H,,,yes sir this was pasture and the grass was really thick,,,thought about using a middle buster to break it up but i already had the tiller on so i gave it a try,,,was really surprised,,,for the first time it did really well,,i have had the tiller jump around some on really hard ground but we had a good rain a few days earlier and i think that helped,,,and i made about 4 passes on this spot,,and prolly this fall i will add some sand to it to help with the Missouri clay,,,i prolly should have went over it a few more times but it will come as i plow more this fall after the crops are in,,,also think i am going to make it a little bigger,,,i picked this spot because of the afternoon shade,,,im sure it will till easier next year,,,also this is a standard shift and in low 1 it goes really slow letting the tiller work,,,if i stop it will just dig a hole to the chain stop,,,it does a great job
