Nick32579 35 #1 Posted April 17, 2017 I bought this for my 61 401 I'm almost done with and really wanting to get it cutting my lawn but my eagerness to finally have found one has gotten me in a bind. Impulse buy off eBay and this ones 17.5" center to center and mine is 16". Has anyone ever cut one of these down and had it work successfully? It would still have all its mounting bolts it would just be a 2 piece instead of a 1 piece. I have the equipment at work to cut it and remove the material off evenly. Just wanting opinions before i turn it into a piece of scrap but i think it would work. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
953 nut 51,657 #2 Posted April 17, 2017 I had one that bad broken near the center and drilled and bolted a piece of 1/4" X 3" steel top and bottom with two bolts through each half. I mowed a lot of brush with it without incident. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
