redone 45 #1 Posted April 16, 2017 Hi everyone. I just rebuilt a k181s,. It ran on the bench just fine. Bolted out to the WH B80 hook all wires and ran test on connections. I don't have power to the coil. So no spark to plug. Would this be a safety switch under seat, or on the foot clutch pedal. I heading to out tractor show near Rockford Illinois in May. This was a winter project...all nicely painted up and ready to go. Thanks Guys Bill
oldredrider 2,547 #2 Posted April 16, 2017 You're on the right track about the safety switchs. Also check PTO lever position (off).
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,444 #3 Posted April 16, 2017 On most models 1/2 of the pto switch and the seat switch controls the ignition. The other 1/2 of the pto switch with the clutch pedal switch or neutral switch on the auto models control the starter. Easy to remember. Operator falls out of seat and the engine quits.
