Ran across this over on MTF.. figured I'd share since, personally I had never seen one of these outside a photo (in the Straight from the horses mouth book). Thought it was pretty Sweet to watch em work, wouldnt mind collecting one myself ... hate to think of what It'd cost thou!

and is it just me, or does the guy look a lil like a younger bob villa ???

I've seen them in pictures and on web sites, but never seen one in person, nor a video of one.

Also, as I was watching that video, I saw this one:

He doesn't seem to be getting anywhere with that pile.

Here's some web sites on the Elec-Trak:

I have the wheel horse version of the elec trak.

I still have not had the opportunity to get it running yet.

My friend Steve in Nappanee has an elec trak (industrial) and a

wheel horse (B-145) like mine that I found for him.

I think his nickname is seabiscuit or seabiscut (not sure he even

spelled it right when signing up...lol)

He has the elec trak working...... I cannot believe the speed of

his tractor. It is 1 1/2 times faster than any of my wheel horses.

They can be had relatively cheap as any other wheel horse.

I got mine complete and with front mower deck in decent

condition for $300 at auction.

Our friend Geof from Canada bought a new old stock B-145 that never had batteries in it and the mower deck still in the box. He had it to the Show once or twice. Got a chance to drive it during the cruise. No noise, no vibration. He's bringing a new one this year. I guess he's involved in producing them again somehow. Here's a link to a previous discussion :
