jsPond 50 #1 Posted March 28, 2017 I have a 315-8 and have recently found a tiller that I hope will work on it. The tiller model number is 79271. If this does work, I hope to bring it home on Saturday. What I will need then is the mule drive for it if anyone knows where I can find one. This tiller looks like it's hardly been used at all. Thanks for any help.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,478 #2 Posted March 28, 2017 The 79271 fits the 260-Series lawn tractors 1994-2003 with vertical engine crankshaft. This is what they look like The 315-8 calls for a 79370 tiller (1993-2007) and this is what they are like The basic unit may be the same but that is about it. There are other earlier models of the 79370 back to 1985 that should also fit so you have many possibilities. Garry Adding These models were used since the fuel tank was moved to under the seat so should work 87-36TL01, 97-36TL01, 07-36TL01, 07-36TL02, 07-36TL03, 07-36TL04, 07-36TL05, 79370

Thanks for the good info Garry, I can always count on you. And thanks to whoever put this where it should be. I've not been as active as I would like to be here so I took a shot. This was my first choice but thought better of it for some reason. It says this is only my second post here but I felt sure I've posted before. Oh well, we'll see what we can do about that. Perhaps I'll post some pics of the tractors at some point. Edited March 28, 2017 by jsPond
