Sparky-(Admin) 19,452 #1 Posted March 19, 2017 So the C-121 I picked up a few weeks ago has patiently been waiting for some attention. First order of business was to check out the drive belt idler pulley ( it's a wee-bit loud) . Good grief!! How long do ya think it was going bad!! Second thing was to get rid of the plastic wheel weights.....check out the mouse nest that was inside a rear rim ....can you image how the mouse felt after going round and round for an hour while the tractor operator mowed their lawn! Mike....

N3PUY 1,031 #4 Posted March 20, 2017 The grass in the wheel happens. It's from using a rear discharge deck. Mice don't use grass.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,034 #5 Posted March 20, 2017 Get it done. You may want to ad some oil to that pulley

Retired Wrencher 4,874 #11 Posted March 21, 2017 Well Mike at least you know what it is. I am sure you can find parts easy. Zagray is just around the corner. After a little ATTN. It will be fine. That is what makes it fun the adventure of the fix up. Enjoy. See you at Zag`s.
