Tractor identification

Recommended Posts

Budenmack

This is my first time posting and I was wondering if anyone can help me identify a wheel horse I just got . I put a picture of the tag below. It has 3 numbers 16k801, 1989, and 6189.

Pictures would help.   Could be a 1989   400 series with a 16HP M16S Kohler and 8 speed gear drive transmission.      Model # 416-8

16k801 was used on 16hp 8 speeds in 76-80 and a couple after that. We definitely need pictures to narrow it down. :)

The 1977 model production started very early in 1976. Just a best guess.

More

Just noticed the difference between the 71-16K801 and 71-16K802 is the Kohler engine spec. number used so this parts list could be used with caution.
