Neat Wheel Horse Tractor Lift

Recommended Posts

Nice lift.  I like the simplicity of the design.  I bought a similar lift made by Craftsman, but it doesn't work well for wheel horses.  The C-shaped metal that engages the axel has to be extra wide to accommodate the wheel horse.  There are some triangle looking burrs on my c-101 angle that kept the craftsman from safely lifting the tractor.

That's wicked , will it lift the rear end too?  They use something similar in formula 1 motor racing . Maybe stick  small pieces of rubber on the lift forks to protect paintwork

Works on both axles Neil!   The idea came from  lifts they used at the Indy 500 track  for cars in the 1960's  Similar to one in this  later photo.

I'd map out the dimensions of the parts....and start fabricating....lol .

The new lifts in F1 are an engineering dream .
