JamesC-120 204 #1 Posted March 5, 2017 I was driving down the road when a Wheel Horse D-250 caught my eye. It was sitting in a guys yard. It looks to be in okay condition but not great and the rear fenders and seat are missing. But it does have a plow and it seems mostly complete. What do you guys think I should pay for it? And what do you guys see for parts that are missing? I have never owned a D-250 and don't know a ton about them.
maxiblue 352 #2 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) Wow nice find, good project looks like a 1979 or 80 missing parts but don't worry they are out there I know that I'm doing 2 myself, and have one with a loader that is done. But that one looks it needs a lot , get it cheap. Edited March 5, 2017 by maxiblue
12 hp Kohler 1,014 #3 Posted March 5, 2017 That is a great tractor and you should jump on it. I noticed that it has a hydraulic lift for the plow that is a great feature
DTOM 124 #4 Posted March 5, 2017 Hmmmm... I can see you needed $500 in parts if your patient enough to find them for sale. Its a 1976-77 tractor, which is not the best years. The plow and 3 point are good for $300-$400. $400 Max would be my offer. You'll have good amount of money in it when your done and hopefully the motor is still run able.

Shuboxlover 474 #10 Posted March 11, 2017 I have a nice gas tank available if you end up buying that beast. I also have a seat and all the seat suspension but it would probably need recovered. Good luck! Tyson

maxiblue 352 #13 Posted March 11, 2017 HI again , if you do get it like shoeboxlover said he has parts I may have some, and I think DTOM may have some. AT one time there was a guy that made aftermarket rear fender and pan assembly for the D-250.
