Good thing your short on time. Our friendly competition would otherwise be impacted by these guys giving you all these great ideas. Your project is going to put mine to shame:-)

I can’t wait to see yours in person at the show:-)

Oh there we go, no pressure 👀

Love your thread on your tractor and what all you have done!

I just sent some money to @T-Mo so I am the owner of a GT-14 myself!! Don't have it home yet, cause Terry lives on the other side of the state. Gonna have to do a road trip!

I have been reading a lot of threads on GT-14's and Its filled my head with a lot of ideas!

Can't wait till you get yours finished!

Thanks @RandyLittrell. I had a lot of ideas when I got this one and thanks to @Aldon I managed to pull off a few. Thanks to his builds(and others) I have had a road map to go along with a few ideas of my own. I look forward to your build when you get to it. This has become my favorite model of Wheelhorse. I am just trying to make it “mine”.

New shoes for skittles. Decided that since most of my use will be on turf, I went with Carlisle Turf Masters. May get tri ribs for some skinny wheels later. I am converting to 5 lug trailer hubs and 8” wheels.

Well since my serial number was non existent and you could just barely read the model number, I figured I would make a new one. You wheel horse gurus will notice the serial number is all wrong. Well since my Dad got me into this hobby, I used his birthday for my serial number. I ordered a new tag decal from Terry and made a new tag from 1/16” steel plate. My son had it powdercoated at work and this is what it came out like. Terry’s decals are top notch. Can’t say it enough.

Don't knock wipers on headlights. Standard equipment on Volvos and they work like a charm. Only draw back is that they are a dealer item only. A bit pricey.

I got new blades at Napa for the wife's XC 70

Nothing special about the sign,    just your typical laser cut piece of steel with perfectly symmetrical spacing of indexed holes with minute steel holding center hub detail, including recessed placing of indexed support screws with a flawless application of paint......can't say as I'm impressed ($%#&^%$%#*) no big deal, ($%#&%*&^%) See this kind of thing every day.... I'm not humbled or anything.............

Unbelievable, just frigging unbelievable.... :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

You crack me up @cpete1 It’s plasma cut, not laser :laughing-rolling: and its far from flawless. :mrgreen: But I appreciate the compliment. I’m humbled again. :laughing-rolling::laughing-rolling:

So I have this parts 418-A I have been sitting on till I got the chance to start working on skittles again. So today I got out and started stripping all the brake linkage and motion control assembly off it. I started eyeing it up and it looked so similar in dimensions to the 418. I figured lets see what fits and doesn’t fit. I took a saw and cut out the side plate for the tunnel, ground some threaded nuts off the back and laid it up next to the side panel on skittles. It is unbelievable that 2 tractors, different models and transaxles, 15 years later the parts would fit in the same holes.  I had to drill out one hole for the bushing but the brake cam, motion assy and the control rod from the hydro cam to the lever all bolted right in. Have to cut the “happy” slot in the side panel but most everything else is a direct fit. Will have to straighten and thread the brake pedal rod and use a clevis on it instead of the 90* bend and cotter pin. Ran out of daylight.
