bmsgaffer 2,043 #2 Posted February 21, 2017 Whats a TL50? Never seen that number before. The engines should both run the same way.
pfrederi 17,129 #4 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) TL-50 is i doubt a WH tiller... Some small tractor PTOs turn opposite WH D series I bet that tiller is for a different brand. Also you need to consider speed some small tractors are 540 rpm the D is over 2000 Edit: Didn't the D250s PTO turn the other way???? Texas Todd 1,024 #5 Posted February 21, 2017 I had a Sears tiller years ago that had counter rotating tines. It undercut instead of overcut. Worked well. Maybe that's the case here? I also wonder about the rpm spec for this tiller.
maxiblue 352 #6 Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) Rear PTO on a wheel horse D-250 turns counter clock wise. Old "B" series Kubota tractors also are counter clock wise . That's my two cents TL rotary tillers all seems to be after market, and rated by PTO horse power Edited February 22, 2017 by maxiblue add infor
pfrederi 17,129 #7 Posted February 22, 2017 Just checked my D200 PTO manual...2000RPM turns clockwise as viewed from rear. I am more convinced that the tiller he got was probably for a D250 or another brand of tractor.
