Just curious if anyone has repowered a rear engine rider here. What did you use for an engine? This would be on an A 81 i contemplated using a predator vert shaft. Not sure just looking.

Along with my wheelchair project been throwing around the same idea  ...

l have a old hydro 18hp BS vert.twin mower (Ranchking or MTD) . Thinking of stuffing the hydro and engine in it . I know there would have some major metal fab to get the engine in but exhaust pipes coming out on each side would be :wicked: along with the ease of hydro drive .

If you have an engine with the right diameter PTO shaft. I thank most any engine would work on a RER.

WHX??

And I quote..."I just wanted it for the steering wheel"  :ychain:

What was the matter with the motor that you can't make it go?  Looked to be in fair shape.

Starter was frozen, cant repair just pondering a repower vs finding out the motor burns oil like crazy and being money into a lost cause.

And i did buy it for the steering wheel..... but hmyou know how that goes jim.
