Glad your planning to keep this one all original! I will have to compare my 754 serial and spec numbers to yours now....

this true original 754

Congratulations on finding your first 754;  unless I miss my guess you are already on the lookout for another one!    :ychain:    The "Bucket List" isn't complete until your bucket overflows.

Very nice my man. The other day the wife said, I remember when your bucket list was on a post-it note, now its two sheets of legal pad. Seems the closer I get to kicking it the more stuff I want

Ya got me for sure Steve. I didn't scroll down far enough to see your last statement before I was scrolling back up to look at it again. I was thinking "why would he say that".

That's a dandy Tom. As nice and straight as you're likely to find an original one. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Nice one for sure. It is also on my bucket list. That is the last one I would like for my collection.

Well I had to kick out the chief engineer this afternoon, think he has been sleeping for awhile now. Pulled the shroud and flywheel off and cleaned out the rest of his belongings. Rebuilt carburetor and fuel pump, pulled the head and cleaned up carbon. All in all I looked pretty good. Next up is to check the fuel tank and see if it will leak, thinking of rewiring it, new points and condenser.

Yikes but I could see that  coming Tom..... when I first read you booted the  chief engineer I thought you meant Mr "I just wanted it for the steering wheel"! :ychain::ROTF:

Dare I ask what did the inside of the gas tank look like?  Keep us posted on how it goes.

BTW hope the long ride home was uneventful.

Knowing SHYNON's luck.....He'll probably have three of those (754's) by Spring....
