You are correct and have an eagle eye. They were special ordered from Lowes for the windows on the lower level. Guy came today to install and of course two of the double wide ones were about 12" too short. That is the EXACT reason why I decided to pay them to measure and install. That could have been about an $800 mistake....

Those 60" decks look humongous on the 520s compared to the 5xi's, kinda glad I only have 48" decks for the classics, BTW it's a very nice looking :wh:, as well as the fastest of the 520s, Jeff.

This is my second. I have a 1988 that I restored about 7-8 years ago and has since become my back up mower. I also used to have my custom 3 point hitch on it. I plan on putting that on this one.

This one was on ebay in Middlebury so not far at all. Off exit 17 on Rt 84.

That C160 is a dibs tractor so I have been told by my good friend Kenb. That one was done right. The PO did a full blown mechanical and cosmetic restore on it. Not perfect but really nice.

Really nice score on the 520 and a beautiful C-160.  On the blinds...I had the same type experience on some complicated custom counter tops.  They wanted me to bring in the measurements and I said "no, you come out and measure".  Sure enough, they had to make all the counter tops TWICE!!!  But not on my dime...

Looks great Steve.  A little puff once in a while keeps the bugs away. Enjoy it.

Countertop wrong size? SAME here! I thought the contractor was gonna cry when I showed him the new granite was 12" too short off HIS measuring sheet. Then they chipped the corner on the new one when they installed it!!! Third times the charm - on their dime...

None right now but you might find a thread here under 520 3 point hitch or stevebo's 3 point hitch

Steve, nice find.

I bet you'll have it looking almost new before you are finished "detailing".

They say the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys..........

Regards,

Steve

Apparently the Ponds were fond of "pond" skating...This little known add on was designed to keep your :wh: safe if you go through the ice while plowing a skating rink for the youngsters...

Depending on how deep the water is, you can also hook a boat seat cushion to a winch cable. When the tractor sinks the seat will float, pulling the cable to the surface, providing an easy lift point to haul it back out. The really fancy models are completely water proof, so when the cushion reaches the top it switches the winch on and pulls the tractor out by itself. The entire rig is available from Toro as NOS Pt # snkurWHrtvlsystm 101-SHLWTR or 102-DPWTR depending on how long you want the cable to be...
