ThreeHorses 20 #1 Posted January 15, 2009 I'm trying to buy parts for a rear implement lift for my GT1142. Does it take a lift cable or a chain. I found a lift tube and bracket but no cable. Found a cable but seller said to check this site. Thought it took a tube and chain. Can anyone help me or have a picture of this lift mechanism. Know where I can get one? TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #2 Posted January 15, 2009  The gear drive Work Horse GT models use the same rear hitch components as the late model C series or the earlier 300/400/500 series tractors. The only difference between gear drive and hydro application is the tube that the lift cable passes through on top of the transaxle, but most of those tractors came with the proper tube already installed. The current hitch model number is 85518 and was around $230 - the last time I checked. (complete assembly) Here's a LINK to the hitch IPL at PartsTree.com.
