Inside and outside cast wheel weights?

Recommended Posts

Are these inside and outside cast wheel horse weights? I've never seen the ones with the notch for the valve stem before. Rare??

Some rims have the valve on the outside (deep side) of the rim, 1267 did.

I've been told that the weights with the notch were made for the "D" series. Wheel Horse none the less.:handgestures-thumbupright:

I don't believe those weights were actually made by :wh:. I have seen many makes of garden tractors with the same weights. As a matter of fact 1 set I have came off of a Cub Cadet and the guy who had them said they were off his tractor that he bought brand new in the early 70's.

More than likely an independent co. made them for the various tractor manufacturers and boxed them up with the correct co. logo. Kind of like how Allied made a lot of the WH implements and later on Ohio Steel.

I believe the inside weights are two piece. Never tried inside weights.

Use wheel weights for pushin' snow, gravel. dirt.

Always front weights when turnin' earth. Made a front bumper that'll support suitcase weights. :handgestures-thumbupright:
