I know I'll have to modify it once I get the plow home but it's a good start! Planning on making a gusset for it.. No measuring as usual!! Just let the sparks fly!

Rule of thumb: Measure it with a Ruler.  Mark it with chalk. Cut it with a Torch! :banana-linedance:

Check your under ware for small brush fires after your done! :)

Squonk (Mike): I am guessing you know first hand experience with torch fires! LOL!   :scared-ghostface:

I wouldn't pay more than $150 and I've seen those type plows go for $125 in good shape.

I picked up one of these over the summer.  However mine is white and brown.  Brinley brand.  Is yours a wheel horse brand?  Mine appears to have a bigger disc.  I paid $25

Wow that's awesome! Mine is a wheel horse brand. Looks to be barn kept!

Yours does look longer than mine.  Mine was barn kept too. Still has all the stickers on it.  Looks like it maybe hit dirt once.  I wasn't sure if it was like most other attachments where other companies made them as well as wheel horse.  For example I never knew wheel horse made a lawn sweeper till I bought one at a garage sale last summer.

Very nice! I can't wait to test mine.  Unfortunately it will have to wait till spring when there isn't 2 feet of snow.  How did the clevis do?  Need any modifications?

Luckily it's somewhat warm here!! Had to grind the nuts down and bit but other than that it held up!! Still need to add some gussets though. The main bar was flexing

I'd say that's a success. I need to build one for mine.  I don't plant a garden but it will be useful for several other things. Is yours utilizing the rock shaft cable lift?  I see you have it hooked to what looks like an 8hp tractor.

It's gonna come in handy! Yes I'm using the rock shaft cable lift! It's actually a 7 horse Honda with a gear reduction! Not fast at all but I can plow in 3rd gear at an idle

96-42BA01 plow. Brand new in box. I assembled to make sure all parts were included. Did have to add a trip spring, spring rod, and index rod. Someone "borrowed" them as it sat in the warehouse for 50 years. Box is a bit rough, but I could reinforce it for transport. I will disassemble it, need workbench space.
      Made for (per manual):
      1974 A800,
      1975 A80
      1976-7 A90 A100
I believe vertical shaft tractors. Maybe others?
      Thanks for looking
      Matt

Will the plow I am using on my C121 and C160 work on a 876?
or is the plow frame different?
      Thanks

Just wanted to show a modification I did to my 1990 310-8. I recently picked up a 36” tiller for my horse and I tried it out on my new garden area. After hitting a rock, it knocked one of the axle brackets open dropping the right side of the tiller. On a manual I viewed, it had clevis pins to hold the lever in, but my bracket did not have them. I drilled a 1/4” hole through on each lever and mounted a 1/4” clevis pin and hairpin cotter to reinforce the lever. I read on another post to just tighten the bolts on the levers, but I think this will work a little better. Hope this helps someone!
