I think we have a few members who might consider that model in the future when climbing ladders to trim trees
I think this was the EPA compliant model.
I have been wondering where I put that ! !
I believe this was the least common model, as the most common was the right handed one. I couldn't find any manuals on it though searching Stihl's website. Maybe Garry can add it here to our manual's section if found.
@T-Mo That's a STIHL model # 001 ARMBOSS !!!
Thanks for that post.Makes for a grin on this old mans face.JAinVA
On a day like today, with freezing rain coming down and the threat of power outages, a little humor ain't going to hurt any. I'm glad it's making people smile today.
Love it think I will try to find one on ebay.
You guys in the affected areas remind me of the wireless operators on the Titanic.As long as you are posting somewhere on Red Square we know you're up. Luck to all,JAinVA
Looks like the left handed model.
Looks like the rotator cuff hurts just lookin at it model!
They do make top quality stuff. I would wonder how you oil the chain? Preppers would love that model. I prefer the ones that are just the chain and you hold one end in each hand. You could always adapt it to run off of your PTO.
I've got one of those. Still trying to figure out where to put the gas in it.
I'm tired just looking at it
I think if anyone wants to use this, I probably can convince them that an in flight missile mechanic is a rewarding occupation......
I didn't realize Stihl was quite that old.
